How to Find

The office is located inside the Faculty of Engineering, v.le Risorgimento 2:

main (historical) building; take the stairs from the lobby, up to the 2nd floor. Take the corridor. First door on the right. Call at the telephone on the wall on the left of the door : 93817.

From the city center to the Faculty (about 20 min by walk)

From the city center (Piazza Maggiore), take Via D'Azeglio, since you get to the crossing with Via de' Carbonesi and Via Farini. Take Via de' Carbonesi, after few meters Via Collegio di Spagna on the left and then Via Saragozza on the right. Once you arrive in Piazza di Porta Saragozza (the Gate), cross it and continue walking along Via Saragozza. On your left (about 50 meters after the Gate) you find Viale Risorgimento, a street with an ascent (on your left there are the Cassarini' Gardens). The Faculty of Engineering is located on the top of the ascent.

From the airport to the railway station (by bus)

Bus BLQ connects the airport to the railway station. The trip takes about 20-30 minutes. You can buy tickets on board.

From the airport (by taxi)

You may take a taxi from the airport. The trip duration to the city centre is around 15-20 minutes and should cost around 15 EUR. Getting to the Faculty takes similar time and has similar cost.

From the railway station to the Faculty (by bus)

When you exit the station, you have the bus stop in front of you. Take the bus number 33.You cannot buy tickets on board. You may purchase them either at "tobacco shops" that display the big "T" shield outside, or at newsagents. Multi-ride tickets "city-pass" can be obtained at discount prices. The trip takes about 15 minutes. The direction of travel with respect to the station exit is towards the right. The number 33 bus goes on with the "Viali": you have to get off at the "Liceo Righi" bus stop. Bologna is the most important railway node in Italy and is quickly reachable by train from all major Italian cities as well as many other European cities. Approximate train travel times to/from Bologna: Rome: 2.5 hours; Milan: 1 hour; Venice: 2 hours; Florence: 1 hour.
